Zazhil has toured extensively throughout the globe and was one of the first bands in Mexico to classify as World Music. Zazhil fuses a traditional Mexican music called "son", consisting of multiple genres and rhythms, with blues, jazz and rock. The outcome is a sound that portrays the diversity of Mexican culture and ultimately creates a genre of its own. By re-creating and fusing "son" with contemporary musical styles, Zazhil exemplifies an innovative Mexico in the 21st Century.

Mariachi Luz de Luna has been representing the finest of Tucson's vast mariachi talent. Mariachi Luz de Luna have been winners of the Tuscon Area Music Critics Choice Award for the last ten years. They have toured in Europe numerous times, appearing at the Royal Theatre in London as well as the Barbican Theatre. From Stavinger, Norway; to Athens, Greece; to the cover of Germany's Superstar magazine; to the Montreal Jazz Festival, Mariachi Luz de Luna continues to entertain its audience with a natural and playful enthusiasm.

Salvador Duran is a flamenco guitarist and painter born in northern Mexico. Duran has toured with Calexico worldwide and recently played at Lollapalooza, which has an audience of 35,000. Duran is an impressive live performer as he comes equipped with acoustic guitar, harmonica and wooden stomping box. Duran's voice resonates with richness and his vitality for the love of music transpires throughout his unique performance.

Calexico, named after a border town in California, is a rock band from Tuscon, Arizona. The two main members, Joey Burns and John Convertino, create music inspired by Southwestern American culture along with jazz, country, rock, surf, and Afro-Peruvian music. Calexico then adds the traditional sounds of Mexico and the result is a dynamic, multi-ethnic, rock-based production.
